I think the rumor is partially true. A closed bolt marker forces you to bore your paint properly, or even bore tight, to avoid ball roll-out. Its not necessarily that the marker is more accurate but that users were more likely to bore premium grade paint. BTW Love my Resurrection!! You should buy one! If this marker was available 15 years ago it would be 3 times as much. DO IT
