Tony unboxes, reviews, and compares the Virtue VIO Ascend to the Empire EVS and Dye i5 paintball masks.
The Virtue VIO Ascend is the newest addition to an industry leading VIO lineup, combining high-end performance with a mid-range price tag. Designed and built as a single-piece goggle, the Ascend is molded with dual materials for the perfect combination of protection, rigidity, flexibility and comfort. Although the Ascend is not built on a modular frame and facemask like the other higher priced VIO goggle systems, the Ascend does utilize the same technology found in key components of the VIO platform, such as its quick change, fog resistant thermal lens, upgradeable strap, replacement foam, stealth visor and fan.
Why Choose the VIO?
See More – With a large field of View
Better Comfort – Soft dual layer foams
Breathe Easier – With maximum airflow
Hear Clearer – No echoing
Speak Louder – With more venting
Max Protection – High impact resistance
Designed by Virtue – Built to Win™

why does the thumbnail say vio vs i5 vs evs, when this is just a review.
#ripdave2k16
Oohhhh new vid can’t wait
Took out the smoke lense and got a chrome lense instead at living legends booth for 100$ 😉 that’s cause the chrome goggle was 50 I saved 30$ bucks
Looks like a klr kinda
I have a long nose, would the Dye i5 and Empire EVS fit me comfortably?
vio all the way
first
Any way of knowing which model for googles has the largest viewing angle?
EVS all the way – Thumbs up guys
which mask gives you the most forehead exposure? reason being is i wear boonie hats with many other things to break my “human” shape. The problem with my last mask which was a sly profit was not only hot but my boonie hat sitting on top of my head rather than wearing the hat.. basically i looked like a steampunk Abraham Lincoln.
Any recommendation for what mask to use if you need to use glasses underneath? Many I have tried just don’t have enough room.
You could have just said the lense removal system was the same as the regular vios
I honestly love the EVS due to it being one of the biggest masks out there as I am a bigger build than a average person my chin usually hangs out on masks like the grill or e flexes so I bought the EVS not to mention the foam on the EVS is amazing.
that intro was sick!
I really want the dye i5 but would you say the red is a pinkish color, because that’s how it looks
